The Hive Collective
Oyin Burr
FounderI’m Oyinkansola “Oyin” Burr, a wellness and hospitality entrepreneur creating spaces where restoration, culture, and belonging can exist beautifully together.
Breathe & Bee Sanctuary was born from a lifelong feeling of being between worlds and a deep belief that no one should have to shrink themselves (like I once did) to feel at home.
The name reflects two core beliefs:
Breathe: wellness begins with a breath.
Bee: a reminder to be authentically yourself.
Inspired by my Yoruba name, Oyinkansola, meaning "Honey Drops Into Wealth," the bee symbolizes abundance, authenticity, and intentional growth.
My background spans yoga, dance fitness, event planning, travel, and experience design, but my work is ultimately about one thing: creating environments where people feel cared for, connected, and free to become more of themselves.
My Nigerian heritage and passion for apiculture deeply influence the way I see hospitality. A healthy hive is an ecosystem and every individual matters, every contribution has purpose, and thriving happens through connection.
Today, B&B begins with curated wellness escapes, restorative experiences, and intentional travel. The long-term vision is much bigger: a global network of hive-inspired sanctuaries designed for the African Diaspora and welcoming to those who value cultural connection, restoration, and belonging.
I believe rest is infrastructure, culture belongs at the center of wellness, and softness is your birthright.
Welcome to B&B Sanctuary.
Help Build the Hive
Who's Next?B&B Sanctuary is growing from a vision into something real—and I’m looking for execution-driven people who want to help bring it to life.
You might be a wellness professional, hospitality expert, creative, strategist, event producer, travel lover, community builder, or simply someone with a skill and a genuine belief in what we’re creating.
You don’t need to have a title or a perfectly formed idea. You do need initiative, curiosity, and a willingness to build.
If you see yourself contributing to the hive, I want to hear from you.
How would you help build B&B Sanctuary?
